During this artist in residence I was participating in the cross-disciplinary project Kreaasje, a project from Keunstwurk and the Freeze festival. For four days we were challenged to build bridges between art, pop music, media art, classical music and other disciplines. Our inspiration was the abandonment and the absurdity of the building and of the situation we were in that week. Through images and the music we tried to translate this desolate feeling. The final setting took place in a small room with one window and 5 beds in a row. The musicians improvised on the images they saw, responding to each other and to the overall setting. The audience was free to go, stand and lie where they wanted.
