ontworteld

Created for ‘voorhanden’ during festival hongerige wolf. suspended between two trees uprooted by a storm, layers of cleavers were added throughout the festval. each new layer remained vibrant while the older ones slowly transformed under the influence of sunlight, wind and time. rather than preserving the material, the installation embraced change as a port of the work itself. over time it became a record of transformation, inviting reflection on what it means to become uprooted. with ‘ontworteld’, my practice expands into spatial installation.
